Father McSorley knows his stuff

A Catholic apologia on pacifism. Critiques Niebuhr's/Aquinas and Augustine's just/un-just war theories. Makes an interesting comparison of the just war theory to a just adultery theory to show the absurdity. Based on the New Testament with a focused reflection on the Old Testament. Discusses Vatican II, Canon, and papal writings to support his findings. The book I ordered was used, originally published 1970 I believe so the pages were a little cracked. The print is not as aesthetically pleasing as modern books, but is still easy to read.
