Delicious Recipes Using Cayce Food Suggestions

These are great recipes. I love them. My family loves them. The recipes follow Cayce's suggestions of food combinations and food preparations espoused by his trance source. I especially like that there's a lot of recipes for vegetables--because they're so healthy and recipes are so delicious--and soups because they can be made in double amounts and reheated the next day. Cayce often recommended molded salads because gelatin in the diet helps the body to absorb nutrients. Not surprisingly, there are a number of molded salads. The leg of lamb is a great family favorite. It also includes kelp, which is a wonderful source of many natural minerals. How could something so healthy taste so good!!! Cayce also recommended wild game and organ meats as preferable to other meats. Therefore, you'll find recipes for venison, rabbit, kidneys, and sautéed chicken livers. Unbelievably, the kids love lettuce soup. If you keep a garden, this is the recipe to use when suddenly, after waiting forever for the lettuce to leaf out, you have way too much of the delicious greens and the plants are about the bolt. The leaves are cooked in a chicken stock. Yummy. There's also a recipe for vegetable stock if you prefer. Even when the children were little, they were crazy about millet casserole--go figure. Little kids liking something that healthy? Anything's possible. Another super favorite in this household is Eggplant "Kiss of Wine." You'll also find a recipe for Jerusalem Artichokes which Cayce recommended for diabetes tendencies and blood sugar stabilization. Marceline Newton used to be the cook at the Marshall's Hotel where people used to stay who attended Cayce conferences. She took the suggestions in the Cayce readings for healthy foods and food combinations and created delicious meals out of them. These are the meals she served in their cafeteria. If you want to know how to prepare the foods suggested in books such as An Edgar Cayce Encyclopedia of Foods for Health and Healing and Edgar Cayce on Healing Foods for Body, Mind, and Soul, this is the book for you. Very highly recommended!!!
