The best English book you can buy.

In teaching myself to write I delved into dozens of "composition" books. This one however, though written years ago, is outstanding and still the absolute best. I wish it could be repreinted.

Best writing guide, period.

I read A New Guide to Better Writing when I was in college. It was a lifesaver. This is the best writing guide for students, period.
