This is a great book for any Doberman lover!

This is a wonderful book for prospective owners, as it gives good, solid information, even though it's not very new. The only downside is that all of the pictures are black-and-white.

Ms. Walker, and various contributing authors such as Peggy Adamson and Frank Grover, compiled an in depth history of the breed, along with fascinating anecdotes about top breeders and dogs. Ms. Walker has lived with and bred Dobermans for many years, and her knowlege, experience, and love of the breed shines through on every page. Even though the publishing date is 1981, the information is still current and applicable to the Doberman of today. This book should be a prominent part of any Doberman lover's library.
