"Nice New, Nice Blue, Nice New Blue Shoes"

This is one of those books that kids will love because of how fun it is to read out loud. It's also delightful because the little girl, Rebecca, is just like so many little girls. I recommend this book to read out loud with you child.

Best childrens book ever

When I was younger, my mom would borrow tons of books from our library to read to me every night. This is the only book I remember from those days. It was my favorite book as a child and I would beg my mom to read it to me again and again. I highly recommend it for a beginning reader.

New shoes are needed but only blue will do.

This is a great little book that is fun to read out loud to children. The story is simple but imaginative and the illustrations add to the story without being distracting. New readers will add this to their list of "I can read this all by myself" books. The story is about a young person who needs a new pair of shoes but feels that only blue shoes will do.
