Network Communications Technology - Almost Complete

Excellent Book overall. It covers the material in a logical and understandable manner when a knowledgeable instructor leads the class through this difficult topic. I liked the brief and to the point presentation of and explanation of individual chapter topics. It is very condensed and should not be used as a self-study guide. One of the few drawbacks is typing errors like on page 32 where T is stated correctly as 2n*M plus the FCS but shown as 111010000 which is just 2n*M. T should be shown as 111010010. In chapter 6 Cell Switching is listed with no explanation or discussion. These, and other minor errors, should be fixed so that any knowledgeable Instructor can make use of this excellent text. Reading this book would give a good telecommunications and networking background for anyone preparing for the Net+, MCSE, CCNA or any other networking certification.
