A winning collection

I discovered this comic by accident and was immediately hooked. Nemi is smokin' hot.

Nemi....Awesome

Just where has Nemi Montoya been??? (Norway of course) Thanks. But why just Norway? There are intelligent, cynical, more or less disenfranchised readers this side of the Atlantic too. (So & ^%^%$$$# what. It's not my problem you have chosen to stay on the other side of the & %!!! Atlantic pond, is it?) Yeah, but why haven't our papers or the syndicates picked you up? (How would I know??? I'm way too busy being cranky, irreverent, watching Lord of the Rings (again).) Why would readers want to pick this collection up anyway? Is it for the glossy paper? (Why wouldn't they? After all, I do reflect what the average, everyday working stiff Goth thinks.) You mean that Goths actually repel those who listen to Elton John? Not to mention punch out customers who won't listen to Alice Cooper? (For the record, I have only punched out customers who ask for Christmas Party '07). So, is it true that you like chocolate? (Well duuuhhhhhhh) I really think that you can be twisted, yet possess enough normality to fit in with the fringes of society. ( & ^**$^ & ^^% . Can be twisted? Fit in. What book are you reading.) Have you ever embarassed yourself? (Just maybe Cornholio might come close...but I'll kill anyone who retells that story...BIG HINT) For the record, I would highly recommend your book for anyone in need of psychotherapy, or think they are on the edge and want to take the leap. (My question..how close are you?) My therapist told me not make rash judgements. But I have it on good faith that those in need of a good laugh have read this book and guffawed. I witnessed it! Greatest comic in history!

As a native Norwegian female reader in my twenties, I've followed Lise Myhre's Nemi for several years. Nemi is always funny to read, and some of the strips are hilarious! Although Nemi is best read in Norwegian, it's funny to read in English as well. Some of the points may be lost in translation, but that shouldn't stop you from discovering this interesting comic strip. Recommended for women that are 18 or older.

More fun than a Goth should have

I am in love with Nemi. I wish this would be picked up by comic strip agencies over here. It's hilarious, fun, silly...I couldn't stop telling everyone about it for weeks. I dreamed about hanging out with Nemi! I want a drawing from the artist! I plan on sharing this with a number of friends - I'll buy them their own copies. Don't want their #* & % & R% fingers on mine!
