Best True Crime Novel I've ever read!

I read this right after reading Monster of Florence, another amazing book. This, however, is easily the best true crime novel I've ever read. The characters are very well developed, there is not one single extraneous or superfluous paragraph, it reads quickly, it's exciting, gripping and doesn't seem dated even though it describes an era (recently post-prohibition era cleveland) from many years ago, Bernhardt provides just enough necessary detail without turning it into a history lesson to make it easy to understand or relate, even if you've never been to cleveland or don't know much about the 30s. Comparing it to Monster of Florence or Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, two of my favorites, this is actually better in my opinion, and I loved those two novels.

William Bernhardt has done it again!

I really enjoyed this book, especially mixing fact with historical fiction. This is a great read for a snowy winter day. Grab your favorite blanket, a cup of hot chocolate, this book and curl up and enjoy. Thanks Mr Bernhardt for another excellent book!

Another great read from William Bernhardt

William Berhardt has done it again with his latest book, "Nemesis: The Final Case of Eliot Ness". A thrilling novel based on true events. This is a great read from beginning to end--you won't be able to put it down.

Bernhardt's best

Bernhardt combines his talent of a thrilling mystery with the very real Eliot Ness, touching upon Ness' persuit of serial killer. Outstanding!

Bernhardt has never been better!

I Loved this new thriller from one of my favorite writers! Does anyone remember Eliot Ness and what a hero he was for putting Al Capone away? Do you know what happened to him after that? A bit of history and reality, combined with mystery and murder, and not just murder, a torso murder, and not just a torso murderer, but a serial killer. Never solved? Bernhardt thinks he has unearthed the clues to the case that left this brilliant lawman a broken, alcoholic failure. Can you guess who the murder was? Berhardt can. Highly, highly recommended!
