My All-Time Favorite Project Management Book

I've probably read 50+ project/program management books, most of which have good information but many that are so academic and barely useful in the real world that we practice in. This book is different.... This book had a stronger influence on me than any other project management book I have ever read, here's why: most project managers, for various reasons, do not take FULL ownership/ accountability for the outcome of their projects. Many PMs, especially new ones, spend more time reporting reasons why a project is late or over budget or at risk than trying to fix the problems head-on. Neal compellingly motivates his readers to "own" the outcome of their projects and do whatever is needed to make them successful. Yes, this book is full of useful PM tips and practices but the you will get the most value from this book by realizing that you probably are not doing enough to take ownership of the outcome of your projects. Read this book to take your attitude and professionalism to the next level. Follow Neal's recommendations and you will stand out as a reliable and mature professional PM. One of if not the best project management books I have seen

I have been a project manager for over twenty years. Neal has put into words what I knew but couldn't adequately express. It is all here plus some. I highly recommend this book to everyone from no experience to senior level project managers. If you get the opportunity, attend his seminar on this topic. OJ

Best Project Management Book

This is the best project management book I have read. It is easy to read. It has many answers on how and what to do in a real project. It has some keys to being a better project manager, how to have better projects and how to enhance your career. Read it and even better attend Neal's Seminar where he covers many of the topics in the book.

Neal Whitten's No Nonsense Advice for Successful Projects

One of the best project management books I have ever read.
