How do you successfully navigate your way through the potentially explosive landmines in relationships?
Are you encouraging or pushy? A helpmate or a nag? What does respect and patience in action look like? How do you know which things to say yes to? What's God's role and your role in communication? Are you helping or hindering your child? What do trust and respect have to do with transparency? How can you make wise decisions? What might a parent learn from a mother duck? Explore these topics and more in a group setting.
This study guide is the companion to Jorja Stewart's book Navigating Relational Landmines (A Collection of Relationship Tips). It contains notes for the group leader and ten lessons with discussion questions. Its flexible format allows the leader to customize the length of the study. It could be shorter or longer than ten weeks.
Jorja Stewart and her husband Tom were married in 1972. They reside in southern California and enjoy spending time with their three adult children, two sons-in-law and a growing number of grandchildren. They fill their "empty nest" by hosting young missionaries from other countries. Jorja taught in public schools for eleven years, then chose to remain home full time.
