One of the Best on Trout Organisms

A friend of mine loaned me his book so I could put together a presentation to our TU Chapter on Entomology and what Trout eat and decided I had to add this as a permanent addition to my trout books. It's a potpourri of trout food organisms from start to finish. The book is a study in Entomology and what trout eat on a daily basis as well as provide fly patterns to imitate them. There are graphics to help visualize what the organism looks like, which I found helpful. Although a little dated on fly patterns the information is still as fresh today as the day it was written. I highly recommend this book for the novice and experience fly-fisherman as a reference tool.
