Book has good content but received in poor conditions not matching the described

The book was described in good conditions, but it wasn't, it has the upper side scratched with marker, it seems there were some annotations so to avoid seeing names and stuff they used marker in the whole side, then such marker moistened the upper part of the pages. On top of that the cover is torn. Very disappointed with this purchase. If I were at the store, I will not buy this book.
