Nanner Puddin is a nick name. Reading the book, you find out why. My book has different stories in it about friends and family. Ok, I know you are wondering what inspired this title, right? "Nanner Puddin"Years ago, I ate the best banana pudding ever. I managed to get the recipe from the lady who made it in Dover FL, may God rest her soul, Flora Hunt, a godly woman who loved to cook, we loved eating at her table when in Dover with The Hunts, and The Clouds in a tent revival. Being a diabetic I modified the recipe to lower the sugar content. The recipe will appear later in the book. We started making it for all the church dinner's or as my husband called them, "Eaten Meetin". Also making the Nanner Puddin for all the family gatherings. Through the years we got the reputation of making the best "Nanner Puddin". Now many of my friends lovingly call me Nanner Puddin, leaving off the "g" in pudding. The southern way of saying it... My friends, family and the small town of Callahan have inspired many stories to write. I'm sure you will enjoy the funny and heart felt stories in the book, "Nanner Puddin".
