Fascinating Insights From Edgar Cayce

This book contains fascinating insights which are based on the Edgar Cayce psychic material. I had read some of this before in 'The Lives Of Edgar Cayce' (highly recommended) but I didn't realize how closely the past life experiences of Cayce were related to Achilles, Hector, and other key players in this strange story. Even the lovely Helen of Troy, the daughter of Zeus (in the form of a swan) who emerged from an egg, spoke to Cayce in another life. I have never found another source of information besides the Cayce material that can so clearly show how the processes of reincarnation and karma work. It is interesting to see how people who had lived in the past had similar occupations in their other lives. As one example the guy who built the Trojan horse was a construction engineer when he spoke with Cayce. Also the readings indicate that Hector was a treacherous and devious person and he exhibited those same characteristics while interacting with Edgar Cayce and the others. Besides all of that this book provides a good synoposis of the mythological story of Troy and an overview of the various mythological gods and other figures. It's not a long book so it doesn't take too much time to read it. How fascinating it would have been to talk with Edgar Cayce. One mysterious aspect of this story is what exactly are the mythological gods such as Zeus and Poseidon. Were they just imaginary figures that people associated with the forces of nature as the book suggests based on the Cayce material ? Or rather were these strange gods real individual beings with their own unique personalities ? I suspect Edgar Cayce himself may have been one of these mythological beings (just a theory). Cayce definitely matches up with the characteristics of these gods. They seem to bridge the gap between this earthly life and other dimensions. They also have strange abilities as Cayce did. If my theory is true Cayce would probably never have said this because of his humility and his desire to always acknowledge the one supreme God over all the others.
