A must for everyone working with troubled families

Elliott Leyton's book is an easily read book that draws an understandable conclusion to each and every study in the book. The studies are of kids in correctional center for youth and their lived experience within their families and society is always unfortunate to put it politely. I too am sick of the apologists who blame every illegal act on a criminals upbringing but if we could stop the progression in childhood and recognize it for what it is like Leyton has done there really might be a chance for rehablilitation. Teenagers are tough but not yet a lost cause. Read it!!!
