great book, great writer!

This was a fantastic book! I couldn't stop reading it, couldn't put the book down until I was finished. I have been a great admirer of Ms. Herron's for a long time now and I never pass up any of her books. She writes such intriguing stories, on the edge of your seat thrillers, and to die for romances. She really grabs you by the neck in the first paragraph. Mysterious Circumstances is just another great story for everyone to read. I fell in love with the cold hero who turns warm through out the book. The "Iceman" I love it! She really put two complete opposite characters and had them push back their differences and fall in love. It was a great romance story to read, and just another great in general. Check it out! You don't want to miss this awesome book!

The race for a cure ends in romance

A strange virus that drives the infected to suicide has claimed its latest victim, Olivia Thornbird's father, a scientist that was searching for a cure. Special Agent Craig Horn attempts to keep Olivia, who is a reporter that wants to make the virus known to the public, under control by promising her an exclusive story...if she waits until the case is solved, that is. The situation changes when there are several attempts to kill Olivia. Craig takes her into protective custody, but he does not keep her safe enough. Olivia becomes infected with the Suicide Virus. For the first two hundred or so pages, author Rita Herron crafts an edge of your seat suspense tale. Sadly it stumbles a bit with a conclusion that seems rushed. Intrigue fans shouldn't mind though, the two hundred pages that build up to it remain an entertaining ride.
