Great for the very young

I really like how simple this book is. The photos, rather than cartoons, really hold my children's and my students' interest, and they have fun just pointing and listening as I say the words. If you're not familiar with Spanish pronunciation, though, be careful, there's no phonetic spelling... so get a good guide along side with this if this is your first introduction to Spanish. Another HUGE pro is how heavy the pages are. They are even heavier than cardboard, and nice and slick, and so far have lasted through five years of weekly Spanish students, as well as my own four children! Sra. My World of Spanish Words

This book contains wonderful photos, color and translations of everyday words that children use in Spanish and English. I would recommend this book for anyone trying to teach their child either language.
