I really appreciated the open display of Robert's heart. He wears it right out there on the end of his sleeve. And for good reason! He is quite serious about fully laying his life on the alter for God to do with as He wills. Something I cannot appreciate brother Robert more for. He stands **WAY ABOVE** his peers in the ministry, in this regard! Far too many ministries are fixated on promoting themselves. Being "spent" is the nature of the true ministry in Christ (IMHO). Another wonderful facet of the story is how this assembly of sincere believers were willing to pay the BIG PRICE. Breaking out of the mold that is typical of much of the institutionalized church, which can be best describes as "leaning on the arm of the flesh", the sacred inner-circle of yes-men, power-players, system-gamers, liturgical fleshy narcissism and competitive building programs.... etc etc.... You name it, religious flesh has it. In order to break out of that mold, one must row against the tide. The downside is, the writing is somewhat drawn-on. I found myself putting it down quite a bit as one page seemed to drag into another. Having said that, I would be honored to share a fox-hole anytime with this brother! God has a crown for you Robert. Thank you!
