Awesome daily reading

This is a great way to read thru the New Testament. This is for people/youth who don't want too much commentary, but alot of Bible, in an easy to understand version. Give this for gifts.

My time with God

This is a wonderful book for teens. Its not a whole lot of reading,but it gives you a lot to meditate on. Awesome book.

My Time With God

My Time with God: 15 Minute Devotions for the Entire Year I read "My Time With God" over a year's time. It blessed me and established an excellent pattern for my devotions ever since then. I was so touched by this Bible and the commentaries that I ordered about 10 copies and gave them away to others. I just wish that Thomas Nelson Publishers would have also published an Old Testament "My Time with God" to follow the New Testament book. I highly recommend this devotional New Century Version Bible.

Devotion Book is Fantastic

Ordered a few copies of this book for our two sons who are 13 and 15, and also one for my husband and me. It was our intention that each morning before our son's feet (and ours) hit the floor they would spend the first few minutes with God. This book has been great for a few reasons. 1) Each day is actual scripture reading, and is in the book (no looking it up, though my one son will read the version from his Bible which is NIV). 2) Each day includes scripture from the new and old testament that tie together. 3) Each day has commentary from a minister to further explain the reading. 4) Each day has a few thoughful questions to further one's faith on the reading. 5) The book covers the entire new testament with much of the old as well. 6) The book is visually well layed out. 7) Each day is two pages, starting on the left - so no turning pages. Most importantly, with this devotion book our sons are reading God's Word mostly - with some commentary. Not the other way around like many other devotion books. "My Time with God for Students" comes very highly recommended - from my entire family.
