Cute and funny board book!

This board book is short -- only 10 pages -- but it has a nice cover. The dog's muzzle is covered in fur and it projects out from the book, just like a real dog's nose would. It is thick and sturdy, and has survived my daughter's chewing and her rough playing. The dog is adorable, and the colors used are eye-catching. This book usually keeps my daughter quiet in church because she can pet the muzzle, she likes the pictures and she turns the pages easily. The story is cute, but not necessarily for everyone. The dog, Edgar, goes about his day and does things every normal dog would do. He starts off walking down the street, then he meets a hydrant and pees on it (you see the little sprinkle drops and a yellow puddle). Edgar then comes across a few friends who rub his belly. Then it's "[b]ack to business, one-two-three. Look what I made -- a little poopy!" (and you see a small brown pile next to Edgar). The story ends with Edgar back at home, enjoying "a big hug and a juicy bone." I don't mind the peeing and pooping because we have 2 dogs and our daughter sees what they do, so this book isn't offensive to me (We also like "Walter the Farting Dog"). I understand, however, that some people are sensitive and would not want their child to read and see these things. Overall, a cute book (depending on what you're looking for).
