Mom of a pony girl

This was my daughter's favorite book from age 4-6. The words are still a little hard for her to read herself--probably good for about 2nd grade reading. Pepper is the perfect pony for Lucy--she loves her pony no matter what. I love that the story enforces that you don't have to be most beautiful, smartest, or biggest in a crowd. All you have to be is yourself. All you have to do is try your best.

great book, wish there were more

my girls love this book. the story is sweet. about a pony who feels he doesn't measure up to the other ponies. but is encouraged to just be himself. it's not the usual few words book. there is more story there... my daughter is sad b/c she lost the necklace. we have the ballerina book too and it is wonderful. i wish there were more of these....
