Growing Up in Pee Dee River Hills

Very good story about hardships and good times of growing up around the Pee Dee river. Being from Richmond County, I have heard some of the stories about the Cagles and their stills. Very interesting reading.

The Webb Family

This book was written by a lady in her 90's about the Webb family back in the days. The Pee Dee River runs through the southern part of North Carolina and into South Carolina.....it tells of her life and growing up in the old Webb homeplace (which is where my Great Grandfather lived). Anybody looking for anything dealing with the Webbs and the Wilson families and in fact, anyone looking for their southern heritage will be interested in this book!!
