Fun and facts for children from one of the most trusted names in learning: the Smithsonian Institution. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The panda "facts" in this book go something like "What is this Panda doing?" "Sleeping." So this is not a great book for older children, but my 2 year old absolutely loves it. Nice sturdy pages so she can't rip it apart and pictures of adult and baby pandas.
Pandas!

Reviewed by Christina Wantz Fixemer on 11/12/2007 Children love animals, and pandas are at the top of the list for any kids. The Smithsonian offers a new board book with simple pictures of the panda family that lives at the National Zoo. Simple sentences throughout ask the child what the pandas are doing, encouraging interaction with the reader. While this book is cute, it's not particularly informative. It's decent choice to introduce young children to what pandas look like. If they like the pictures, they can later move on to books that teach them more about giant pandas. 4-Books
