When a rat moves into Benito's store, his customers go elsewhere. Benito needs a boa constrictor to get rid of his problem, but how will he find the right one? This description may be from another edition of this product.
I gave this book to my six year old nephew, and he loved it so much, I bought several more of these to give as Christmas presents. This story offers us a "kid's eye view" of tropical village life, with brilliant illustrations. The descriptions in the book are also captivating. For example, in one place, the author refers to the boa moving through a store as "flowing like a thick stream of chocolate syrup." The funny thing is that my nephew is actually afraid of snakes, and that just made the book more exciting for him to read. I don't usually write reviews on kids' books, but this one warranted it. It's a great one.
