Robin Cook's Best book

I've read all Robin Cook's books and this one is the best (in my opinion). It's very intriguing and also terrifying to think that better inteligence means less emotions and feelings, and probably it can be the case... A very good story and not at all boring...

On the edge of your seat sci-fi thriller.

I thought that the book was an excellent fictional story of a dna mutation. It was like something that could happen today in present times. It was actually kind of scary to think that something like this could actually happen. Cook is an excelent writer when it comes to descriptions of scenes and places. In MUTATION there are not a lot of characters so the story line is easy to follow. One of the difficulties I had when I was reading the book was all of the medical terms that he used which I didn't know. I am not the type of person who reads just for fun but if I was I would read this book. To anyone who likes sci-fi thrillers especially dealing with DNA experiments this is the book to read.

A PARENT'S DREAM TO A PARENT'S NIGHTMARE

When you learn your dream child is a living nightmare, what will you do to stop him/her? Find out what is one of millions of options in this great novel from the master of the medical thriller himself, Robin Cook. This book will defenintely keepyou up at night

I couldn't put it down

This was my first Robin Cook novel and was I in for some shocks. Robin was very convincing and although I was very frightened, I couldn't stop reading. It makes me wonder what are the scientists "really" working on. Now with the cloning of animals, what can we expect next. I hope nothing like Mutation ever really takes place even under "controlled" conditions. I read a few other of Robin Cook's novels but I liked this one the best

A good read

A variation on the Frankenstein theme. Dr. Frank nevers imagines his project to create a perfect son would end up in a experiment gone awry. I was impressed by the moral values of the mother. It created the perfect balance with the naivete if the doctor. The story was moderately paced and the dialogue was good. Having read Coma and Brain beforethis book, I was expecting some surprises. Only a few, but still a good read
