Fun book for young readers...

Its a good book for babies and toddlers. My Son loves the silly sounds. I would like the book to be a little more sturdy. Part of the page near the music box is showing signs of tearing - hence the 4 stars. We were so unlucky that the battery wore off within a day of use :-(

Great for young musicians

My baby girl is tickled with this book. The day it came she just couldn't put it down. Now it has seen a lot of wear, but it seems to be holding up nicely.

Perfect except for battery issues

My 21 mo. old got this for Christmas. She loves it. Pages are durable. Daughter loves pushing the buttons to play snipets of the songs then pressing the sound buttons to add to the melody and create her own unique music. She wore out the batteries in less than a month. And that's the problem area. The screw holding the battery cover shut was put in so tight at the manufacturer that the head was embedded in the plastic. I couldn't even get it out with a drill. The manufacturer replaced the whole book for me, but when the new book came its screw seems to have the same problem. I'll probably have my husband or dad try to remove it when these batteries wear out and if that doesn't work maybe take a metal cutting drill bit to it and bore it out. I guess it's never too soon to teach the youngsters about power tools, ha-ha. Only other thing is that the batteries it takes aren't available in the stores in my area so I had to order them from the manufacturer also. Overall, I'd get this book again because my daughter has such a blast with it.
