Love Fletcher's books

Mystery lovers will love this book. Fletcher is a master of weaving her characters and plots together. Another great book to read

Jessica Again

This was once again a good book in her series of murder she wrote books. I have read all but the last one; Trick and Treachery. I have followed her tv series and books for many years and hope she continues to write more. When I read any of her books I can almost feel myself in the tv version, like I am there and one of the characters. Jessica Fletcher is a wonderful writer and I hope that she will be around for years to come, writing more of the Murder She Wrote series.

Wish it would have said it was a reiusse

Having read all the Murder She Wrote books, I was quite confused with this one as I was reading it. I felt that I had read it before, but was confused because it stated she had just met Inspector Sutherland. I knew that she had met him before thru previous novels. Also, the title was one that had been used in previuos series. Now I found out that it is a reissue. The book should have stated this. The credit page did state that April 2000 was the first Signet printing but should have stated it was a reissue. This is what has bothered me. Still, love the entire series, each book is just as good as the one before. Own them all. Can't wait until the next ones come out.

Great Job Jessica Fletcher!

Jessica Fletcher proves her sleuthing skills once again. Leaves you hanging to the end. Also introduces us to Jessica's new male friend, George Sutherland, who pops up again in a number of her other adventures.

Jessica does it again, for the first time!

Excellent, couldn't put it down. Keep in mind that this is a re-release of Donald Bain's first Murder, She Wrote mystery and not the next in a series. Some familiar characters are introduced in this book and come back in subsequent books, ie Chief Inspector Sutherland. This is a "must have" book if you have read all the other Murder, She Wrote by this author.

An uncozy travel

Jessica has done it, yet, again. As she travels to England to visit her friend and world's most famous mystery writer, Marjorie Ainsworth, the real mystery begins. As usual, Jessica stumbles upon a body, this time it being her friend, Marjorie. The plot of the story thickens when Jessica puts her own life on the line to find the culprit who murdered Marjorie in her own bedroom. I enjoyed this book so much I couldn't put it down. Every page is a page-turner, and Donald Bain has captured an atmosphere engrossed with suspense and thrills. I'm comparing "Gin and Daggers" to other great Murder She Wrote mysteries such as "Knock 'em Dead" and "Rum and Razors." One word for Bain: Genius.
