Murder Never Wins

This is a collection of "justice" stories each detailing an event in which someone is brought to justice--either dead or alive. Violence in the West, was it worse than in the East? Was it worse than today? Who knows. You can prove anything with statistics, but whenever the law was violated, there was someone to see justice done, whether out on the "lone prairie" or on Texas Street in Abilene. Ernest Haycox didn't glorify violence; it was just a part and parcel of life--still is today, I'm afraid.
