I found this mystery on the sale shelf of a local bookstore. Even though the book was written over a decade ago it isn't dated. I enjoyed Barbara Wilson's characters and her infusion of geopolitics. Nothing felt contrived or cliche, which of course is rare for mysteries. I especially liked her sleuth Pam Nilson. The characters, dialogue and the plot all seemed logical. My only minor complaint would be with the climax, which seemed a bit of a letdown, but otherwise I can recommend this msytery.I look forward to reading other books in this series and also her other mystery series.
