Northern Ontario realtor Belle Palmer is showing the lakefront mansion of a prominent businesswoman when she discovers the lady strangled in her bathtub. Could this third break-and-enter death reveal a serial killer at large in the Nickel Capital?
This is the 4th Belle Palmer book from Lou Allin. Belle goes through some harrowing experiences in each book that keep you up way into the night/on the edge of your chair. In Murder, Eh? Bell is not only responsible for saving her own life, but that of an 11 year old boy temporarily in her charge. I love Allin's descriptions of the Sudbury area, weather, politics, health care and animal lore. Being from the Midwest now, via California - I have no idea of Canadian life other than from reading. All of Allin's books are great mysteries, which I pass on to my local library. Now to await the 5th Belle Palmer in the Fall (?) 2007.
