Friend or Foe?

I enjoy reading suspense, and I enjoy all of Christy Barritt's books, including Mountain Hideaway. I engaged quickly and stayed up reading way too late, wondering what was going to happen next. Tessa is running from her ex-boyfriend and his long reach, as he has many powerful connections and no conscience. She doesn't know who she can trust, so she pretty much doesn't trust anyone. When she just begins to settle down and feel safe, Trent McCabe finds her in her mountain hideaway. Is he a friend, sent to find her by her family as he claims, or is he just one more person helping Leo to find her? There are plenty of twists and turns and chase scenes, enough to keep you wondering what will happen next. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
