The Most Dangerous game is about a man named Rainsford. While he is on the boat, he is talking to his best friend. He leaned too far over the side of the boat. Then he fell off the boat into the ocean. He finally swam to the Shore of Shipwreck Island. There he met two men that live in a castle on the island. They are living there to hunt on the island. However, what they hunt is not usual. He hunts the humans that drift onto his island. The characters of this story are Rainsford, he is the main character; he is the one that is stranded on the island. His best friend is Whitney, who is still on the boat. The captain of the boat is Captain Nielsen. He two men on the island are Ivan and General Zoroff. Ivan is a big man that does not speak. He is the general's assistant pretty much. The general is the one that hunts on the island. Sadly for Rainsford, the general was going to hunt him too. The next morning the general told Rainsford that he had a few hours for a head start. Rainsford tried to make a difficult trail for the General to follow. It was night and Rainsford figured that the general would not be able to find him. He did. But in the end Rainsford was smart enough to outsmart the general for three days. He was able to get off the island safe and alive. I really liked this story. I think it was cool because the author kept you reading. If you stopped reading you would want to start again. It had cliffhanger that keep you on your toes wanting to find out what happens next. I hope we can read more stories like this.
