The first three sections offer detailed information on methods of aerolization and aerosolized drugs, for the convenience of those prescribing or administering drugs. Section IV provides groups of drugs related to respiratory and critical care medicine, including anti-infective groups, local anaesthetics and central nervous system depressants (barbiturates, narcotics, other sedative-hypnotics, general anaesthetics). Aspects of these drug groups which are relevant to respiratory care are summarised. The alphabetised listing of individual agents in the fifth section gives details on drugs of primary use in patients with cardiopulmonary diseases. This section includes drugs affecting the cardiovascular system or commonly seen in critical care (e.g. antihypertensive agents, antidysrhythmics, antianginal, diuretics, anticoagulants, neuromuscular blocking agents andcorticosteroids). Agents directly targeted at diseases of the respiratory system such as anti-tuberculosis agents and antihistamines (H antagonists) are also included for reference. Effects on the respiratory or cardiovascular system or interactions withaerosolised drugs are noted where applicable.

Good guide

Not a bad guide to have, but if you get the Respiratory pocket guide (2nd edition) or the Mosby's PDQ for Respiratory Care it will have all you need in it. This guide is good it just lacks a few of the newest medications.
