If you are into herbal alternative medicine, this book is for you. It gives you alot of info on how to use each item and lists any cautions with prescription meds.

I am a home health nurse whose patients frequently use natural and/or herbal medicines and this book is a great resource to help make sure their prescriptions and natural/herbal meds are compatible. I have also used it to inform my patients of the side effects and desired effects of their herbals and naturals. The book is an invaluaable aid to any nurse whose patients use herbals/naturals.
