As always Morningstar comes through - this is an essential volume for anyone considering entering the world of ETFs. Concise...precise...effective...

Excellent on the ETFs it covers. Might wait for a new one.

This seemed to provide a very good review of the ETFs covered. It does not cover them all, and the newest ones are not covered well because there is hardly any historical data to use to construct the coverage. For the ETFs old enough, and covered, it does have the info I wanted - volatility, tax efficiency, expenses, returns, main holdings. It is easier to use than the web site. The book appears to be published early every year, and can get dated as the year progresses. Obviously the best data is in the latest book. Don't get last year's.
