I am teaching an advanced English class in Japan, and I have found this book very useful. What I really like about this book are the follow-up questions. They cover vocabulary, idioms, the general point of the article, etc. My students are of different levels, and have different ideas about what they want to learn in a class, so these follow-ups really help. The lower level students can push through the questions and refer back to the article (the articles have numbers every 5 lines), thus, they can spend a lot of time getting themselves up to speed before the discussion class. More serious students can spend time memorizing the vocabulary and idioms. Ideally, everyone will prepare for my class and then we are left to discuss the article. The book has been great, and I'm looking for the next edition.
