This book must be read more than once, as it is impossible to absorb and digest all the information that is presented in one passthrough. The book is insightful, thought provoking, global in content, and is void of fluff. It offers many practical options for goal-setting and strategic planning so that managers may embrace a leadership path that is within their comfort zone and business style. It challenges leaders and managers to rise to a higher level and also reminds them of often-forgotten basic people management skills that are not only critical to successful goal-setting and strategic planning but also in achieving financial rewards. Finally!

Finally a book worth reading every page of! I am getting so tired of reading business books that have only one central theme then spend the entire book trying to prove that point. This book actually has depth! Yes, many of the concepts you may already know but I found these refreshers to often very helpful. But this book also brings some crisp new perspectives, written from the point of view from someone who has been there and done that.

An Excellent, Practical Frame for Strategy & Execution

This book is an excellent frame for strategic planning and execution. From the perspective of a strategist and business coach, I find it interesting because More Than a Minute follows so much of what I do in my practice... I could give it to prospects and say "this is what we're going to do". I think the audience is one where they are theoretical about wanting to learn about strategic planning and implement what they learn. There are so many good sections of questions and other tables in the book that you can start using tomorrow... very practical and useful.
