Excellent stories!

I literally had to cover up the ending to each story with a piece of paper, so I wouldn't jump to find out who or what the story was about. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Historical tidbits presented in dramatic fashion

I remember listening to Paul Harvey's "Rest of the Story" radio bits in the seventies. They were always entertaining and a frequent topic of discussion among the members of the construction crew that I was the foreman of. When one came on the radio, we competed to determine what the "rest of the story" would be. While we would occasionally get one right, the vast majority of the time we were nowhere close. There are 101 entries in this book and I found all of them well worth reading. Once I started, I could not put it down, finishing it in one sitting. It is one of those rare books, easy, entertaining and educational.
