Another generation of users is now enjoying these simple and sensible make ahead family favorites. My daughter phoned, again, for another of the recipes. Time to get her her own book.

More Make-A-Mix Cookery

I will say that this book is great. I 'stumbled' on "Make-A-Mix Cookery" several years ago when a co-worker was showing it to another co-worker. Being a person who LIKES TO EAT and cook because restaurants rarely satisfied me quality- or quantity-wise, I had to check it out. I bought it and a few days later bought "More Make-A-Mix Cookery" after trying a few of the mixes and recipes; none of which disappointed me. My top favorites from "More........" are the "Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix". the best, and the "Snack Cake Mix". These and the recipes: Double Choclate, Oatmeal Spice, Carrot, Banana Walnut, and Applesauce snack cakes are lick the lips, um-um good. I always hated to eat the last piece of any of them. Buy the book!!!!!

Excellent--many prepare ahead, time saving recipes

This is the best cookbook I've seen. Especially for families. You prepare a mix ahead of time and then use it to prepare four to six future meals or dishes. Great on saving a mom's precious time.
