Detailed how to drawings and photos. Mostly black and white photos but many color photos too. Shows a wide variety of garnisges. Well organized and easy to find what you want with the color photo index/contents. Only wish it was still in print or a new edition was out. could use more color photos. overall an excellent addition to your Japanese cook book collection.
