This little book is too wonderful for words.

I do not only admire this book, but i love it deeply. The author's voice is unique. The imagry is a combination of the wilderness and modern urban consciousness. It confronts the wilderlands, the roots, of the soul; it looks back at us through the eyes of the deer, we look out at the deer from a cave dug into the side of the damp sandy earth. Radio waves jazz the air overhead. It is an experience. It is spiritual, and palpable.
