I'd put it at the core of a unit on teaching kids how to write riddles.What makes a cow laugh?MOOseums.MOOvies.And so on.Such word play is educational in the best sense of the word.The board format makes it unsuitable to take into classrooms. This book is full of silly word plays on the word--of course--MOO! My three-year-old was in hysterics! Not educational, but definitely a treat for storytime if you want to enjoy some humor with your favorite little person.
