From Lisi Harrison, the New York Times bestselling author of The Clique and Alphas , comes a new series with a fresh twist on high school, romance, and the "horrors" of trying to fit in. The monster community has kept a low profile at the local high school, but when two new girls enroll, the town will never be the same. Created just fifteen days ago, Frankie Stein is psyched to trade her father's formaldehyde-smelling basement lab for parties and prom. But with a student body totally freaked out by rumors of monsters stalking the halls, Frankie learns that high school can be rough for a chic freak like her. She thinks she finds a friend in fellow new student Melody Carver-but can a "normie" be trusted with her big secret?
The book was fun and a great introduction into Monster High and how the characters came to be. There are funny early y2k references and it was an easy read.
I purchased a very good copy and received a 'good' copy. Several pages were faded and hard to read. I didn't bother for a return but I was unhappy to have paid extra only to receive a copy that was in okay condition. Unfortunately all 4 books were mis-printed/faded/hard to read.
Great condition, but not the style ordered

I ordered this book and the others in the series for my collection and it is in great condition with minor wear and no markings! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I ordered them all in hardcover so the collection would be uniform, but I ended up getting sent a paperback copy of this one only, so it doesn't match the other 3.

Bought the book for my collection of MH, I am a little disappointed that the cover is ripped. I did select the “Very Good” option and didn’t receive it as so but overall the inside is great.
