heartfelt writing

I think this is a really terrific collection of monologues. The editors have found writers with a really great range of styles and voices. One piece called "A Picture Hook" was amazing. It was strong and heartfelt and so true. The entire collection features very unique talents.

Just Here for the Book?

Really terrific anthology of stories. In particular I enjoyed "The Bookstore" by Jason Garrett. Funny, poignant, and right on the mark in what it feels like to try to meet someone ("Aloofness is, after all, the gay aphrodisiac.")A worthwhile read.
