Recounts how an improper relationship and broken confidences led to threats of jail and prejudgement in the media. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The writing in this book was so atrocious I couldn't read more than 20 pages. I was very disappointed because I've heard Monica speak and I wanted to read her full perspective of what happened. Don't look for it here. This reads like a poorly written gossip rag, complete with excessive exclamation points and dramatic cliché phrasing.
The inside story of the scandal of the decade

I was surprised by this book. I was expecting a rehash of the details of this most bizarre of relationships. Instead, Andrew Morton managed to get to the woman behind the public persona and reveal a touching, complex, and honest profile of Monica. By the end of the book, I had readjusted my opinion of the whole affair - and realised that, President or pauper, human emotions are the greatest leveller. This book is not just juicy scandal - it's a love story. I highly recommend it.
Excellent book

I really enjoyed reading this book, since I thought thought nothing positive of Monica but after reading her book it shows the other side of her. I wish her all the best in the future after all that has happen. I really don't think bad of her or President Clinton. In some countries this is not a big deal since some politians sleep around and the public knows, they do not get elected by how much women they have slept with but the job they do.... good book
An insightful look at the life of lovely Monica Lewinsky!

At first, I had a pretty bad impression of Monica Lewinsky. But after reading "Monica's Story", I realized that she is a articulate, charming, and strong girl who over came a lot. Reading about how her mom made here daughter take a shower with the door open for fear that she would take her own life was too much. My heart goes out to this strong and courageous girl. "Monica's Story" touched my life.
AN ANALYSIS OF MS. LEWINSKY HERSELF

The book " Monica's Story " ,which was written by acclaimed writer Andrew Morton ( who also wrote the book about the late Diana, Princess of Wales ), gives us an idea of who Monica Lewinsky really is, why these controversies and scandals linked her to the President and what is her role in protecting the accountability of public officials.
I couldn't put this book down!

I do not approve of the way Monica has lived her life by showing and acting out her sensuality, but I do believe that she is basically a very honest and caring human being. This well written book made me see a different side of the woman, and I finished wanting to write to her and to give her a hug. I couldn't believe the nightmare this young adult and her family had to endure and will continue to endure far into the future. It is too bad that our society has such a double standard and that Monica is viewed as the one at fault. I only wish her well and hope that she is given a chance to rebuild her life and live it to its fullest
