Essential insight for all interested in film-making

John Boorman is the greatest film-maker ever. In my opinion. This book excells because he does not tell a tale based around the shoot, which most books of this nature focus on. It's mentioned of course, but because this is his diary, we are treated to his insights on motivation, ideas, problems and solutions. It's more about the creative process than anything else.Boorman writes as well as he directs, check it out.
