Out of 200 books in my personal library on Christ's life, this would definately make my "top 5" list. Ken Gire writes so clearly and powerfully that at times I felt like I could smell and taste what was happening in Christ's life. Gire hooked my heart and my mind and my soul and left me closer to JESUS than ever before. GO BUY THIS BOOK NOW! What a blessing it will be to you. One more thing. If you have a friend or relative who is a believer and you want to touch their life forever, give them this book. A wonderful addition to your devotional library!

This book is a really good deal! Initially, these "moments" were published in 4 separate books. Now that they're combined, you have the whole thing in one book and what a book it is!Ken Gire's writing really will touch your heart. The book consists of over 60 chapters, each of which contains Scripture, a meditation, and a prayer. The chapters are in chronological order and are all moments in the life of Christ. I can't think of a better book to give someone who is wanting to learn more about Jesus and is just starting out. However, this is not just for newcomers to the faith. Ken Gire presents fresh insights into these events in Jesus' life here on earth. I use this book for looking up information on certain passages in the Gospels for greater understanding and use in a group Bible Study. It's a great resource!In addition to the chapters taken from the 4 separate books, there are 20 totally new chapters! This book would be great to have on hand for gift-giving!PS I also highly recommend Ken Gire's book called Windows of the Soul.

What an amazing devotional book!

I read this book and when I finish, I don't go looking for another one, I just start all over to the front of this one. I can not stop reading this wonderful book. It has so much true imagery, that I find my-self keeping mental notes for use in sermons. Ken Gire does such an amazing job of truly listening to Christ as he reads GOD's word. Any Christian that wants to deepen their relationship with Christ, would help them-selves out, by allowing Christ to work through this book in thier life. Your life will be enriched, enhanced, and you will obtain a greater understanding and desire to apply GOD's word in your own life. Thanks Ken for allowing GOD to use you.

Prepare your heart to be forever changed!

I received this book as a gift from my sister who is a huge fan of Gire's other books. As I began to read my devotional daily, I became enveloped in his words, meditations, and prayers. Gire has the amazing ability to make the readers feel as though they were there with Jesus as he journeyed on Earth. As I read about Jesus' life, I imagined my own presence there and how my life would have been, how I might have acted. It humbled and shamed me to know how Jesus was treated as I came to the realization that I probably would have been a skeptic as many others were. This book is wonderfully constructed into three sections: one is the Bible passage, another is Gire's meditation on that passage, and the third is a prayer about what the passage and meditation discuss.Gire challenges the readers to understand Christ more and truly love and trust in Him. This book allows me time each day to truly focus on God, learn from His Son's life and subsequent death and give praise and worship to a loving God on whose patience and forgiveness I constantly rely. Praise God for working in such beautiful ways through Ken Gire.

This book will touch your heart!

I already own Ken's first four "Moments" books, but when I found that this book contained all four of those texts plus 20 new devotions, arranged in chronological order, I knew I had to have it. I have been moved to tears on several occasions through his sensitive writing. Ken has a unique gift to tug at the heartstrings and make the events of Jesus' life seem as though they were happening right now. Each devotion also brings the reality of Jesus Christ into perspective for me, and helps me see how He came to this earth to touch my life. This is a wonderful book!!
