It better be good, I wrote one of the chapters!

I have known the author/compiler since 1956 by the medium of the mail. We have never met in person. Yet I know him well: he is a good friend! He takes it upon himself to provide public exposure for the artistic postal chess player in his book and in his Chess Life column. The 50 contributers to this book have submitted one of their best and most artistic postal games to this showpiece work of Alex Dunne. Alex has selected and solicited games from the 50 highest rated U.S. postal players of that time. The list includes at least a pair of postal world champions. In this effort, the author is unselfish and does not pontificate. I should know, my notes are not touched up or altered in any way. If you want to know about what art has been possible in postal chess, this is your book!
