Plaid Phonics

My child just started with this series and he really loves it. We have modified some of the instructions to remove some busywork and keep the learning values age appropriate.

Plaid phonics books are the best

I have been an elementary teacher for 21 years, and the "plaid" phonics books are the best ones out there. More and more of our language arts programs are missing phonics, especially after second grade. Most of the students I teach still need it! These phonics books are a systematic way of teaching phonics in a fun way. Every teacher and student should be using them!

Black and White

The Level B book I used last year was color. This Level C book is black and white and that's my biggest disappointment. Wish I would have read more carefully. Otherwise, the book has material like I expected.
