Absolutely wonderful

Although I agree with one of the other reviews (This book is NOT for children!), the imagery that Margaret is able to produce in this book (and the rest of the series) is absolutely fabulous. Yes, it contains lesbian romance and physical love. Yes, it contains lots of violence that is very well described. Yes, it contains a brutal rape. **What is more disturbing is that the RAPE and the lesbian romance was what most of these reviews are about. Nevermind the extreme violence right? That is ok, just don't write that 2 women are kissing and making love? Wonderful book. I love Margaret Weis and will continue to read anything she writes :P

Original Fantasy

If any of you are like me you've read just about everything you can get your hands on. If that is the case then it is so hard to find original fantasy stories that don't spin off of Lord of the Rings, or say Harry Potter. This book is amazing, the way the author winds her story around the characters is so original I had no idea where the story was going. You get very close to all the characters, but no matter how you try the ending is unpredictable, and I love it. If you're into fantasy please please do yourself a favor and read this book.

Can't wait for the next two books!

If a fantasy novel can't keep my attention, I don't even go to chapter 2. I could not put this book down! It was a light and fast read.
